Privacy Policy
Last updated 21 June 2026
This policy explains what information Sitewise, a service operated by In2Line ("we", "us", "our"), collects when you use our website auditing service at sitewise.in2line.com, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. We keep things to the minimum we need to run the service.
Who we are
Sitewise is a website auditing tool provided by In2Line. For any privacy question, or to exercise any of the rights below, contact us at sam@in2line.com. In2Line is the data controller for the information described here.
Information we collect
- Account details. When you create an account we store your name, email address and, if you provide them, your business name, phone number, town and industry.
- Websites you submit. The web addresses you ask us to audit, including any competitor address you choose to add.
- Audit results. The scores, issues, screenshots and reports we generate for the sites you submit.
- Payment information. If you buy a report or subscribe, your card payment is handled directly by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; we only receive confirmation of payment and your subscription status.
- Technical data. Basic information your browser sends, such as your device type and general location, used to keep the service secure and working.
How we use your information
- To run the audit you requested and generate your report.
- To create and manage your account and saved reports.
- To take payment and manage your subscription, including the automatic re-scans of your main website.
- To send you your report and service related messages.
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
Legal bases (UK GDPR)
We process your information to perform our contract with you (running the service you signed up for), on the basis of your consent where you provide optional details, and for our legitimate interests in keeping the service secure and improving it.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We use a small number of trusted providers to run the service:
- Supabase for secure hosting of your account, reports and authentication.
- Stripe to process payments and subscriptions.
- Google for sign in (if you choose Google sign in) and for the PageSpeed Insights tool, which measures the real loading speed of, and captures a screenshot of, the website address you submit.
- An AI provider (such as Google Gemini) which receives the public information gathered from the website you submit in order to write your report. We do not send your personal account details to the AI.
Each provider only receives what it needs to perform its task, and is bound to protect it.
Cookies
We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in and to make payments work. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and reports for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we must keep limited records (for example payment records) to meet legal obligations.
Your rights
Under UK and EU data protection law you can ask us to:
- Give you a copy of the information we hold about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete your information.
- Restrict or object to how we use it.
- Provide your information in a portable format.
To do any of these, email sam@in2line.com. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Security
We protect your information with encryption in transit, access controls and trusted infrastructure providers. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to keep your data safe.
Children
The service is intended for businesses and is not directed at children under 16.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
